Four Things 7
So, I was tagged recently by Sir Tommy Park recently for that little Four Things meme that’s been going around. I traced it back a bit, and it got to me by way of Zeldman and Santa Maria (if you’re really bored, start with Tommy and trace it back and see for yourself), so I feel special. I’m moving up in the world– sort of. It only took, like, 8 people inbetween to get to me! … Anyways, on with it.

A Call to Arms 4
Just because I’m a whore to Wordpress, I’ll mention this to you masses (or, rather, you four). For those of you who don’t regularly check their Dashboards (assuming you use Wordpress), Matt’s looking for outstanding young (or maybe not so young) men and women to help with the development of Wordpress. So, you should go on over to the Codex page regarding Responsibilities and sign up under an area you can help out with. “Why?” you ask? Because you’ll be helping out, and that’ll give you warm fuzzies… (plus, you get to be a “rockstar.”)
The Apple-Disney-Pixar Czar 3
It has been announced that Disney is set to buy Pixar Animation for $7.4 billion (in stocks). This would make current Apple and Pixar CEO Steve Jobs a very powerful figure within Disney, as he will become the largest individual shareholder within the company, and a director of it as well.
Like he wasn’t rich enough already…
Burnout 3
Those whom are regulars to Milk Carton have noticed that I haven’t posted in a good 2 months– have noticed and have made me quite aware, in fact (Hi Elliott, Anthony, and Katie). I have, however, been suffering from a bit of a burnout.
Blog-wise, I haven’t been able to write because I’ve noticed just… an incredible downhill slide of writing talent from paper to the internet. The stuff I write on here is usually shite compared to what I really can write on paper, and I need to remedy that. I’m also suffering from what I guess could be considered writer’s block. Though I really don’t want to write this post, since I know all of you have seen this from a blogger time-and-time before, I feel it may help to acknowledge in some way that there is a problem.
Along with the above, I’m just mentally and physically burnt out. School, a death in the family, and personal problems have caused a lack of interest in… just about everything. On top of it all, I’ve had no serious Web Design/Developement projects in a bit. Projects help keep my mind off things, and tend to keep me happy, atleast for a few hours.
I like blogging, and I like what I do here, I just have to find a way to express myself as I know I can, and that may take some time. We’ll see, I suppose. Till then, this is what you get.
